Helping Youth & Caregivers Build the Skills to Thrive

When a child’s mental health needs show up through behavior, daily life at home can become challenging.

Home Support Services provide one-on-one guidance, coaching caregivers in practical strategies that strengthen parenting skills, support positive behavior, and build more stable, connected family routines.

We partner with families to develop tools that help kids succeed at home, at school, and in the community.

Support You Can Count On

Home Support Services support youth and their caregivers through:

In-Home Skill Building

A family support specialist and therapist partner with families to provide structured, strength-based support at home, school, and the broader community.

Each visit focuses on practical skill-building, including improving communication, establishing routines, setting boundaries, and responding to hard-to-navigate behaviors.

Caregiver Coaching & Support

Caregivers receive hands-on guidance and practical tools to build confidence in managing behaviors, strengthening relationships, and supporting their child’s mental health needs.

Youth Skill Development

Youth learn skills to manage emotions, follow routines, and build independence—helping them succeed in everyday settings and feel more connected to their families, friends, and supports within their communities.

24/7 On-Call Emergency Support

For families enrolled in our community-based services, support is always one call away when urgent mental health needs arise.

Funding & Payment Options

Home Support Services are funded through Healthy Montana Kids Plus (Medicaid) and Healthy Montana Kids – Extended. We also offer a sliding fee scale for families paying out of pocket.
