Mark Burzynski

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Burzynski brings decades of executive leadership and financial expertise to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch (YBGR), along with a strong commitment to serving others and investing in the next generation.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mark has served as Chief Financial Officer at St. Vincent Healthcare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana, and Montana State Fund. Most recently, he served as Interim CEO of Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau. He attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin.

Throughout his career, Mark has emphasized promoting health and well-being, recognizing how social and environmental factors influence health outcomes. His healthcare leadership experience, combined with his service as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) alongside his wife, Adrienna, shaped his commitment to serving children and families.

Years ago, while working at St. Vincent Healthcare, Sister Jane Ellen asked Mark whether his work was bigger than his soul. Her words stayed with him, reinforcing his belief that true success comes not from personal achievement, but from dedicating oneself to something greater. These experiences ultimately drew him to YBGR and our mission of Caring People, Preparing Youth for Life.

Mark’s leadership philosophy reflects the values that guide our work every day. He leads with Faith in people and their potential, Integrity in decision-making, a commitment to building strong Relationships, and a deep sense of Stewardship for the resources entrusted to us. He believes leadership begins with serving others and measures his own success by the success of the team members he supports.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mark and his wife, Adrienna, now call Billings home, where they enjoy being close to their son, Cale, and Adrienna’s family ranch.
