At Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch, we understand that finding the right treatment for youth is an important step in a family’s healthy future. And making the decision to place a youth in residential care can be one of the most difficult decisions a parent can ever make. Although the decision is difficult, it is one that will provide a significant amount of relief knowing the child is safe and in a place where they can begin work that leads to healing.
At YBGR, youth receive intensive therapeutic services from caring, experienced therapists who only want to see the child succeed. Clinical oversight is provided by board certified child and adolescent psychiatrists and a clinical psychologist who understand the psychological, emotional and physical needs of youth in treatment. Our on-campus medical clinic is staffed 24 hours a day insuring that trained nursing staff is available to meet a youth’s medical needs at anytime.
Because YBGR’s residential treatment program takes place in a home-like setting, youth learn the value of life-skills, how to interact respectfully and courteously with others, and how to develop and maintain strong, loving relationships. Life at the Ranch is very structured and full of activities that encourage good daily habits.
