Dear Parents and Guardians,
Searching for services to help a child can be an overwhelming task. At Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, we work to provide a safe environment for children and staff, free from pain, injury or loss. We value every individual and practice an attitude of respect and dignity.
In order to become whole, we recognize every individual needs hope for a better future. Hope allows for healing and growth. Our professional staff will work with you and your child to develop a treatment plan, integrating information from various disciplines and modalities to focus on the identified needs of each individual. The treatment plan outlines goals, objectives, treatment techniques and interventions that will be used throughout your child’s treatment.
Our goal is to enable your son or daughter to improve their emotional and behavioral development so their care can be adjusted to a less restrictive level as soon as clinically appropriate. We offer a continuum of care that includes many levels of service that are listed under “programs” on this site.
We encourage family interaction in all of our programs. Our residential treatment program provides housing to parents for prearranged visits. Our chemical dependency program provides opportunities for children and their parents to participate in family-week interventions. Throughout treatment, we will provide tools that promote healthy families.
Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch has been meeting the needs of children and families since 1957. Needs have changed over the last 50-plus years and so have we. Our mission is to provide quality mental health and education services that promote the emotional, behavioral, spiritual and physical development of children, adolescents and their families.
Thank you for considering Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch for your child.
