Letter to Parents and Guardians

To you from Glenn McFarlane, Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch CEO

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Searching for the right services to help a child can be overwhelming. At Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, we work to provide a safe environment for youth and families. We recognize that every youth is special and unique. In all we do, we seek to treat everyone with respect and dignity.

In order to become whole, we recognize every youth needs hope for a better future. Hope allows for healing and trust. All staff at YBGR will work with you and your child to develop a plan that integrates information from various disciplines to focus on the identified needs of your child. Each treatment plan outlines goals, objectives, treatment techniques and other opportunities that will be used throughout treatment.

Our goal at Yellowstone is to enable your son or daughter to improve their emotional, educational, and behavioral development so that care can be adjusted to a less restrictive level as soon as appropriate. We encourage family interaction in all of our programs. Throughout treatment, we will teach tools that promote healthy families.

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch has been meeting the needs of children and families since 1957. Our mission is to provide quality mental health and education services that promote the emotional, behavioral, spiritual and physical development of children, adolescents and their families.

Thank you for considering Yellowstone for your child. Please review our web site and if you have any questions please call 800-726-6755. We would be happy to provide the information you need to make an informed decision about treatment for your son or daughter.
