Through Yellowstone Academy, youth are offered educational opportunities that help them maintain or improve their educational standing. Teachers are an integral part of the therapeutic process and are aware of the issues students bring to the classroom.

Classes are offered in several buildings around campus including the main Yellowstone Academy building, the Heptner Educational Center, lodge classrooms, YBGR Equestrian Arena, and the Uihlein Physical Education/Recreation Center. In addition to classes in core subject areas, many elective and vocational classes are offered by our certified staff. All youth are provided food service in the Donald Nutter Dining Hall.
