When asked, most youth would prefer to remain in their homes. They seem to understand the importance of continuity and routine, the comfort of their “things,” and the support that comes from spending time with family. They would choose to work through challenges with as little disruption as possible, no matter how hard it gets. In the fall of 1998, YBGR Community Based Services was developed with that in mind.
CBS is a licensed and accredited mental health center that provides a broad range of services for high-risk youth in their homes, schools and communities. Our flexible continuum of care has expanded to include Youth Case Management, School Based Services, Therapeutic Foster Care, Therapeutic Family Living, Youth and Family Support, Transitional Living Services, Pastoral Care services and Lewistown Community Home. Each child’s story is unique, and a variety of services provides many options in designing the individualized care that every child deserves.
By developing good relationships, the Community programs have established multiple partnerships throughout the state of Montana, all in an effort to serve young people and families well. We take pride in our quality services as we continue to meet our youth and families where they are and provide opportunities for positive change and growth.
