Primary goals at Community Based Services are to help youth overcome emotional and behavioral challenges in order to reach their full potential, and to strengthen, preserve and reunify families.

Program Locations
Anywhere from 500 to 650 children per day receive services through Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Community Based Services in communities across the state of Montana.

Case Management
Case Management is the process of assessment, planning, coordinating and advocating for mental health services and natural supports.

Therapeutic Foster Care
Children are carefully matched with licensed and trained treatment families and are under the supervision of experienced treatment managers.

School Partnership Programs
Community Based Services partners with many school districts in the state of Montana to promote success in the school, family and community.

Mentoring
Our Youth and Family Support Worker program is a one-on-one mentoring service that typically occurs in the community setting, the home, or school.

Lewistown Community Home
Lewistown Community Home provides intense therapeutic services to six males ages 7-18.

In-Home Services
Therapeutic Family Living operates under the principle it is best for children to remain in their own homes and communities whenever possible.

Hi-Fidelity Wraparound
Hi-Fidelity Wraparound helps the family become empowered to facilitate their own well-being and achieve positive outcomes.
