YBGR Benefits Package

Available for employees working 30-40 hours per pay period.

Paid Time Off
This system includes accrual of benefit time for each staff working in a regular full-time position, (exempt and non-exempt.). Staff continuously working between 30-40 hours per week will receive a pro-rated accrual based on their scheduled FTE. PTO begins accruing immediately but is not available for use until after successful completion of initial 6-month probation period.

Extended Illness
The EI bank system is maintained for staff use should they have a serious illness or medical emergency. Staff may access the EI Bank after exhausting their PTO accrual due to THEIR illness or hospitalization and they have been off work for a minimum of 40 work hours due to this incident.

Holiday Leave
Holidays are included in each PTO accrual level. YBGR does recognize seven (7) days as holidays each year, (8 hours each). Staff my request to use one shift, typically eight (8) hours PTO from their accrual for each of the holidays recognized by YBGR. PTO will be paid in addition to regular time worked and will be paid at each staff's regular rate of pay.

Free Payroll Direct Deposit
Processing and initial set-up takes one (1) complete payroll period before direct deposit is effective.

125-C Plan
This system enables participants to pay for medical and dependent care expenses and insurance premiums with PRE-TAX dollars. A small fee ($4.00) per month is required for this benefit. This benefit is available to all eligible employees the first day of the month following an 89-day waiting period.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Licensed professional counselors are available for all employees and their immediate families (i.e. legal spouse and dependent children) under the EAP program. This program is available through St. Vincent's Behavioral Health and allows up to four (4) free sessions per year, per person. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Life Insurance
Employees enrolling in our basic term life insurance program are covered for $50,000.00 in term life insurance. That same policy provides for Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Long Term Disability insurance. This benefit is available to all eligible employees the first day of the month following an 89-day waiting period.

Training
YBGR provides intensive in-service training programs including, but not limited to, First Aid/CPR and Safety/Infection Control. Required training will be scheduled by the employee and his/her immediate supervisor and compensated as any other hours worked. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Professional Liability Coverage
YBGR provides Professional Liability Insurance to all employees. Coverages include 1 million per claim/3 million per aggregate. The coverage is provided on a claims need basis. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

401K Retirement Plan
Employees who are at least 21 years of age and have completed at least 1,000 hours of work are eligible for YBGR's 401k Retirement Plan after completing one full year of service. YBGR contributes a flat percentage of each qualified staff's gross income to the pension plan. Actual contribution percentages will vary each year.

Employees become vested in the program based on the number of years worked for the agency. Vesting increases with each full year of employment, with full vesting after 6 years. The vesting schedule is: 1year, 0%; 2 years, 20%; 3 years, 40%; 4 years, 60%; 5 years 80%; 6 years, 100%.

Enrollment is available for eligible staff during the months of January and July every calendar year.

Medical Insurance
YBGR provides a health insurance plan. Employees currently pay 20% of their monthly premiums based on the plan of coverage they have chosen with YBGR paying 80% of the plan cost. YBGR's current plan is self-funded. The plan has a $750.00 individual deductible and a $1,500.00 family deductible. Maximum out-of-pocket expenses are $2,000.00/individual coverage or $4,000.00/family coverage per calendar year. The plan pays 80% after the deductible has been met and 100% after the maximum out-of-pocket has been met. Please contact Human Resources for additional information. This benefit is available to all eligible employees the first day of the month following an 89-day waiting period.

Wellness Screening
YBGR offers a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL HealthyAIM Wellness Screening every three years to all employees on YBGR Health Insurance. This includes, but is not limited to, Cholesterol, Blood Sugar, and Thyroid screenings. After having their blood drawn and blood pressure taken, employees receive their results in the mail and go online to complete a Health Risk Assessment for their immediate Wellness Profile results. YBGR’s goal is to help employees lead a healthier lifestyle and in turn lower rising health care costs.

Other employees and spouses may participate for a small fee.

Express-Scripts
Employees are able to use their Allegiance Insurance Cards for discounts at participating Express Scripts pharmacies. The average discount is between 10-15% off of wholesale prices. Employees must show their card to get the price reduction. Employees are invited to visit www.express-scripts.com for a complete listing of pharmacies in their area or call Express-Scripts directly at 1-800-601-9312. This benefit is available to all eligible employees participating in the YBGR Health Insurance Program.

Supplemental Life Insurance
At the time of employment, new staff may enroll in our optional supplemental life insurance program for up to an additional $100,000.00 in term life insurance. If an employee applies during the initial qualifying period they are guaranteed approval for $60,000.00 coverage. The carrier reserves the right to approve or deny additional coverage for applications received after the qualifying period. Employees may elect to cover spouse and dependent children for a small fee. This benefit is available to all eligible employees the first day of the month following an 89-day waiting period.

Short Term (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD)
Disability insurance is provided to YBGR employees as a source of income protection should they be unable to work due to a non-work related injury or illness. Employees will receive payments equal to 60% of their monthly pay, up to a maximum of $5,000.00. This benefit is available to all eligible employees the first day of the month following a 90-day waiting period.

Bereavment Leave
YBGR employees may receive 24 hours of paid bereavement leave for the death of an immediate family member. Immediate family members include: spouse, parents, children, in-laws, and siblings. This benefit is available immediately to all eligible employees.

Jury Duty Leave
Paid time off will be granted for jury duty. The employee on jury duty will submit their check from the court to YBGR and will receive their regular pay, without deduction from their PTO or EI accrual banks. This benefit is available immediately to all eligible employees.

Health Club Benefit
Employees in Billings and Laurel are invited to sign up with Oz Fitness, Billings Athletic Club, Granite Fitness, or Fitness 19 at discounted corporate rates. The Uhlein Center is on-campus and is available for usage to YBGR employees free of charge. For our employees in Bozeman, The Ridge offers discounted rates; and for our employees in Livingston, Total Fitness offers discounted rates. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Recruitment Bonus
Employees who refer applicants for job openings will receive a $100.00 recruitment bonus if the person is hired. The applicant must indicate to Human Resources who referred them when they apply. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Automobile & Homeowners Insurance Discount
YBGR has discounted rates available for Automobile and Homeowners insurance. Employees are asked to contact Liberty Mutual directly for a quote. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Wellness Care
YBGR employees have access to free Hepatitis A Vaccinations, free TB tests, and discounted Flu Vaccinations through our Clinic. The Clinic is open 24-hours per day to assist the needs of our clients and our staff. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Costco Membership
Costco memberships are available for all interested employees at a discounted rate of $40.00 per year. Spouses can be added on to the membership free of charge. This benefit is available to all employees immediately.

Scholarship Endowment Fund
Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch has established a scholarship fund to enable employees the opportunity to develop personally and professionally and to provide employees with a means to further their education and/or training, while employed within the agency. This benefit is available to all employees with three (3) or more consecutive years of service at YBGR.

Member Banking
YBGR has community partnerships with Valley Federal Credit Union, Avanta Credit Union, and Wells Fargo. Special membership benefits are given to employees of Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. GMAC Mortgage Affinity Plan

Perkins Loan Cancellations
Your position at YBGR may entitle you to cancellation and/or deferment of your Perkins Student Loans. Employees are encouraged to contact their financial institution and/or university for additional information. This benefit is available to all employees immediately and is governed by the rules of the student loan.

Staff Meals
Meals are provided free-of-charge for staff members on campus who are on duty and supervising youth during the mealtime. Staff members on campus who are not involved in the direct supervision of youth during mealtime have reduced cost meals available to them ($1 per person per meal). This benefit is available immediately to all employees.

Staff Recognition
YBGR recognizes the importance of the contributions of loyal and committed staff. Service Award Recognition is based on length of service and is given out after each five (5) years of employment. Employee of the Quarter Recognition recognizes the dedication of staff members who are nominated by their peers.
