Kelli Begley, MSN, APRN, BC - Psychiatric Clinician Ms. Begley obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Portland and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Gonzaga University. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing with Prescriptive Authority. Ms. Begley has 13 years experience in psychiatric nursing, both in residential and inpatient psychiatric settings with children, adolescents, and adults. She designed and conducted a qualitative research study in a residential treatment center. The purpose of the study was to describe perspectives of psychiatric residential counselors regarding the definition and characteristics of therapeutic care and factors that promote and hinder it.
